Our people

Different disciplines.
One shared question.

What might respiratory support look like if we could take a different path?

Our origin

A problem seen
at the bedside.

For Dr. Tobias Straube, caring for patients with severe lung injury made the limitations of existing support intensely personal. That clinical experience became the starting point for a catheter-based oxygenation concept.

Today, VQ brings clinical, scientific and engineering perspectives together to develop that idea responsibly.
